The Type Of Thing
That Would Make My Parents Proud:

I once read an article that said the amount of advertising creatives that exist in the entire world would fit in a football field. Out of those, some find themselves on Adage lists, or decorated with various awards. It’s the ones who are truly fearless that rise. Philipe, or Flip, as we call him, is just that. Fearless. He’s not scared of making big, juicy, bold work. He’s not scared to stray away from the pack. And amidst a football field of creatives, he will always stand out. I am so incredibly grateful to have called him my partner. And honestly, I'm a much better creative because of it!

Everybody loves Flip. And it's pretty easy to say why when you first meet him. His energy for the business is second to none. It's contagious. I was lucky to have partnered with him for several years and have that energy rub off on me too. The guy knows his way around a brief. He's relentless in solving problems. And he has a knack for taking really interesting angles on creative ideas.I always appreciated his approach with leading teams. Flip is an empathetic leader. He rolls up his sleeves too and leads by example. He's just a great guy to have in your corner, working with you, for you or on your brand. I recommend.

I got to work with Flip over this last year and have to say how incredibly inspiring he is. When he joined Mekanism, his energy instantly gave the creative team a huge boost. He has a tenacious work ethic and never stops pushing the work to be better. He refuses to let challenging briefs or clients bring down his level of enthusiasm. Junior creatives looked to him for inspiration and his CDs/ECDs know they can rely on him to consistently bring great ideas and amazing art direction to the table. If you are looking for a solid creative that brings his best work every time, look no further. Hit him up and throw a bunch of money his way. You won't regret it.

Philipe AKA Flip is one of the most talented creatives I’ve had the pleasure of working with over my career. He understand the power of a big idea and the effort it takes to find one then sell it in. He’s organized and understand traditional media as well as non-traditional; a creative marksman.
Philipe is a craftsmen, leader and constant professional. His best quality by far is that he’s an overall good guy and anyone that works with him will discover this - day one.

Flip is a pleasure to work with and would be a great addition to any creative department. He's always eager to take on any challenge large or small and get his hands dirty - from big brand concepting and new business pitches, all the way to fine tuning design and layout. He has a great attitude about the work, engages with feedback, and always delivers proactively without needing a lot of hand holding. Finally, you can expect Flip to bring a unique perspective to any brief he is on - he’s always looking for unexpected ways in and pushing to find something truly unique and exciting. I recommend him without reservation.

"Creative with a conscience" is how I once described Philipe in an evaluation of his work because he didn't just bring stuff to life, but he did so with purpose and passion. I know that's the role of an AD, but some are better than others at doing this; I just happened to witness Philipe deliver work that was extremely good time and time again.

In one word, Philipe is A-A-A-Amazing! I don't think I have seen anybody work as hard as Philipe does. It was motivating to see that Philipe was still up working way into the wee hours of the morning. As a partner he was great at concepting and very talented when it came to executions. He works fast and diligently. In short, Philipe is a hard worker who knows how to do it all, and if he doesn't know how to do it, he will definitely learn how to on his own. If I was staring my own agency he would be my first round draft pick.

We’ve enjoyed working with Philipe Dião and watching him grow in his time at Unlimited.
You can tell Philipe enjoys what he does. He gets into it. He laughs. He agonizes. He approaches it from unique angles. And he tinkers with the solutions.
From social to TVC to activation ideas and marks, Philipe has a solid handle on ideas and how they work on different platforms.
He gets along with everyone. A friendly and happy person, he is able to work solo, with a partner, as well as with other art directors.

He was a pleasure to work with.
Philipe was responsible, passionate and a strong conceptual art director/ACD. He contributed to many projects of various shapes and sizes over the two years we worked together. Whether it was for social, digital, activations or broadcast, Philipe would jump in at a moments notice. We had a very dynamic and energetic work environment and Philipe could be counted on to put in the time and effort needed to get the job done.

Pure Rock'n Roll. He looks at the world through those weird lens that we can only find in the great Art Directors on our business. His sense of balance, space, colors, movement, shapes and the ability to capture a meaningful Human moment are pretty unique. He's good. But Philipe is an idea guy that can conceptualize and partner on the whole as well. He gets strategy (which i like) and when he laughs (which is all the time..) everybody pays attention because we know there is a brilliant comment coming up...Pure Rock'n Roll.

One of the things I’ve learned over the years is that to excel in this industry, you’ve got to love it, taking the good with the bad in stride. Well, Philipe is that guy. His incredible talent stems from a deep-rooted passion for advertising. He lives and breathes this stuff and it shows in his work. His craft and creative criteria are highly polished. On top of that, he’s a non-conformist when it comes to the quality of the work, but knows exactly when something’s finished, even in a time crunch. Then, there’s the fact that he’s extremely responsible and dedicated to the job. He’s the kind of guy who will ask other teams if they need help before he heads out for the day, whatever the time.

Philipe makes a great addition to any team and help it elevate its game.
